ENDOSCOPY SKILLS DAYS 2020
January 17-19 2020
This 10th annual conference and aims to advance the cognitive and technical skills of physicians and nurses who routinely participate in endoscopy procedures. Faculty (gastroenterologists, general surgeons, family physicians and nurses) will use both lectures and small group sessions to facilitate interactive discussions on topics relevant to gastrointestinal medicine and endoscopy.

This promises to be a great meeting with a renowned international multidisciplinary faculty specialising in breast surgical oncology.

REVIEW IN THE ROCKIES 2018
Another amazing Review in the Rockies - the outgoing Organizing Committee and Executive have set the bar high for years to come with an outstanding conference. From interesting talks to a hands-on ultrasound course, there was something for everyone. Everyone agreed, however, the true highlight was the guest speaker, Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield.
Congratulations to all those involved in this years excellent conference!
A NEW YEAR, A NEW LOGO
The old logo had served us well but was starting to look a little dated so the current Executive got busy on making a new, updated, fresh logo that incorporates some of the well-known geographic landmarks our beautiful province is know for.
Well done on a beautiful new logo!
PRESIDENT-ELECT CHOSEN
At the last Review in the Rockies 2017 meeting, the new President-Elect for the Alberta Association of General Surgeons was chosen.
Congratulations to John Graham of Calgary, Alberta.
Dr. Graham will become President at the Review in the Rockies 2018 meeting.
REVIEW IN THE ROCKIES 2017
We came, we saw, we learned -- and we had a few laughs too. The feedback is in and the consensus is that the Review in the Rockies 2017 held at the Rimrock Hotel in beautiful Banff, Alberta was a resounding success. Many thanks to the hard-working Organizing Committee and Executive for organizing a great meeting that was both educational as well as entertaining.

NEW AAGS WEBSITE
Yes, this is the new website. With some sadness we bid farewell to the old AAGS website founded by Dr. Paul Hardy. Dr. Hardy first setup the original AAGS website in 2013 and maintained it on his own - for that we thank him greatly. When time came for an update, Dr. Hardy graciously donated the www.aags.ca domain name that he had originally registered. This new website is hosted on Wix.com and we look forwards to hearing your feedback! Thanks.
